Our Treasure Hunt is an Amazing Race style event in Pickering Village during the Pillage the Village festival.  It consists of trivia, scavenging for loot, and completing fun Pirate Tasks. Registration for the Treasure Hunt can be done in advance by clicking Register in the menu above, or in advance in person at 90 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (LFG Games) or from 12:00pm - 1:00pm in the Village Courtyard at the corner of Elizabeth Street and Kingston Road.

Competitive Division

In the Competitive Division, teams of 2-6 people race the clock to acquire the most “Doubleloons”, or points. The team with the most points wins the contents of a Treasure Chest filled with the equivalent amount of real cash as the points collected (current estimate of Treasure is $200 to $300). Other secret treasure rewards will also be granted to other teams.

Entry Fee is $10 per person.

Family & Friends Division

In the Family & Friends Division, teams of 2-6 people complete similar trivia, scavenger quests, and Pirate Tests as in the Competitive Division, and are awarded with a Participation reward.

Entry Fee is $10 per team.

All participants must sign a waiver and have a parent or guardian sign if under the age of 19. Check-In Noon to 12:45, event starts at 1:00pm for both divisions.
